Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Early church and then going to my sisters and husbands for a meal this afternoon. Her husband and his brothers grew up in South Dakota with Rick and the one brother/wife are wintering from CO. so there will be 10 of us….I havent seen John’s brothers and niece for years so I am excited. She is making lasagna.

Rick was close to Ted and Steve the older guys. I think I can’t remember their ages. There’s like eight or nine of them in the family. They are John’s brothers but he knew the whole family
John was invited to our wedding and Muriel saw him and she wanted to meet him. So the rest is history
John grew up in Sioux falls and so did Rick. John’s family was Catholic but somehow they knew each other. John came from a big family. Rick was closer to Ted and Steve and also did woodworking with Ted when they moved out here. So John was the only one that came to our wedding that was invited and Muriel saw him and wanted to meet him. So the rest is history
How sweet. Does Rick visit with any of them much? You would think John would come more to your house when Muriel comes. But you said Rick was closer to Ted and Steve.
Muriel comes mostly for haircuts…….

That is a wonderful Valentine’s meal. Is that steak/lobster a traditional? Seems I remember it last year. It would cost $50 in an average restaurant more in a fancy place. And with Rick’s love in that food, priceless. Good night dear Ardy.
