Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Hello….we took the dogs for a walk today, it was so nice out..walked around the cemetery. We just had an early dinner, one of Dh’s concoctions..early so he could leave and go work at his rentals. I’m going to watch the Olympics tonight.

Good night Gabi Habibi. Have a good sleep and ready for Monday morning. I used to hate Monday morning. Now that I am retired come on Monday!
I didn’t really like Mondays but usually looked forward to them so I could see my work friends, After the weekend I had so much to do on a monday-mostly ordering and just pray that I wasn’t out of anything
Was the restaurant closed on weekends?
No I didn’t work weekends and had to make sure I ordered enough food to last from Friday till Monday morning, at one point I worked every other Saturday that was 6 days a week and about 50 hours a week, I worked my butt off

No, not out of cookies! When I see rheumatoid they don’t need NPO, but my family doctor wants cholesterol done and I have to be NPO for that. So I stayed NPO so I could get it all done today. Not have to make another trip to family doc’s office.

Back up plan the charcole didn’t light so put the meat in the oven, I can grill tomorrow, check to see if Walgreens or the Dollar store had Lighter fluid the charcole is damp from being out in the garage so it needs a kick start LOL
Be very careful with that charcoal lighter liquid; it’s kinda scary
I’m used to using it😃 you put it on and wait a couple of minutes to let it soak in-peoples misteak is they then light it right away and that’s dangerous
You could get a small new bag of charcoal, get it started in the chimney and in the grill, add some of the old on top the new so it will dry out and catch.
The charcole is dumped out in the grill, I’m not going to pick it up and put it back in the chimeny-that really is to much like work
I meant put new charcoal in the chimney. And dump it on the old. Might be just as cheap as the lighter fluid.
We just have large bags of charcoal the smaller ones have lighter fluid on them, I will just have to see what’s available, won’t know until I look

I saw him or them on something lately but can’t remember..what I do remember is when he came to our town before he was pres..DH and i went to see/hear him..he walked in and I was in awe…I thought “he is going to be president someday” and knew it for sure..just felt it. I’ve told that story before but it’s one of my favorite stories.

oh yes, somehow I knew..the way he walked in and spoke, I was just enthralled.
Before he became President he came and spoke at the University here, I was at work so I didn’t get to hear him but I was withing 2 blocks of him and saw his car go by😍 The streets were lined with people-I could feel that this man has something just because of the turn out to hear him speak😃it was in the air

Started the grill now see if the charcole lights-I just had a little bit but I also picked up sticks to add if the fire isn’t hot enough now just wait for a bit
Hi stopping back in I have been in the garage looking for charcole finally found it had to clean the grill up, Gery didn’t clean it properly when he grilled last and I have pork chops and chicken thighs thawing chiminy is packed and ready to go, I figured if I had the grill going I would cook some extra things then I have food ready to eat for later days in the week so I will start the grill in about a 1/2 hour trying to use the day light😃

I know grilling is hard work. But think of it this way. You are cooking several meals, think how nice it will be to eat good with minimal work.

😂I’m on plan B now Pam the charcole didn’t light, I’m having a Pita with my first time grilling in a long time, just put the stuff in the oven
I don’t clean my grill much. I scrap it good after cooking and before cooking. I allow an extra long warm up time to burn off the residue on the grates which sterilizes them.
