Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. We went to my sisters and husbands for an early supper. It was great seeing John’s brothers and wives that live here. It had been years although Dan has done our taxes for 20 years. Good morning Ardy. Food looks good, so do you and that man! Sorry about the rough night. It was probably as much lasagne as wine. I think you are already on omeprazole? If not, take one an hour before you have food or drink that you know is a trigger.
sounds like you had a wonderful time. For me, I’d get heartburn from the lasagna maybe.
Her lasagna sauce was very mild and i didnt feel any effects after eating it…..I bet its the wine….
Now i know the sauce on y cheese enchilada will come back to haunt me but we will be eating at 11:30.

Just got done with all the paperwork and other junk I had to have taken care of for my appointment tomorrow with the hand doctor again. Hi Debbie. Yes this is related to the rheumatoid in my right hand. This hand also has osteoporosis, osteopenia, arteriosclerosis, and something else that I can’t remember right now. That’s what I saw when I looked at the reports. No wonder it doesn’t look very good. Oh well. Good luck with your appointment. Is your rheumatoid staying in check? That is a lot of things going on in a hand! I think the doctor you are going to is an orthopedic? Funny how you can get the records and the hospital can’t, especially if you are getting them from a computer. I do have some hard copies of some things. Sure hope the doctor can help you. I’m doing better in most ways except my hands, which are worse.
The doctor I see tomorrow is strictly a hand doctor not RA though. Can you straighten your hands out?
Yes I can straighten my hands out. They are just weak. I can’t pinch you with my right hand. The knuckles are getting bigger and the thumb has a funny shape. I can still do most things I need to do but I worry about getting worse. I’ve seen the commercials on tv where people can’t lay their hand flat.
Yep that’s me, my right hand is almost a ball. I can stick my fore finger out and my thumb, but that’s it. They say that the nerves slipped over my knuckles somehow and they can do surgery on it but I don’t understand it.
I hope you get answers to the things you don’t understand tomorrow. Will this be the first time you have seen this doctor. I hope he has a solution that isn’t difficult. Good luck tomorrow Karen. Be sure to let us know what he says.

I think RA is usually not in just one part of the body like Osteo is sometimes. It is inflammation that affects the whole body. It may show up in one part of your body where swelling can be more easily seen, but it is body wide. They detect it through blood, where Osteo is seen more on xray, CT, MRI.

Yes it all did, green beans from the Dollar store they are the southern seasoned ones they are so good😋

Me too, when I can afford to eat the salt. I used to buy plain old turnip greens or mustard greens, but they don’t sell them any more.
You can still get them in produce. Mustard greens used to be my favorite but now my favorite is kale.
Mustard greens are my favorite, but I have to take home a bag or two of fresh to get enough quantity. I’ll see what I can find next time. Maybe I can get enough turnip, mustard and collards to make a nice batch. Yum!!
A lot of these greens are available in bags, washed and trimmed.
I will definitely check out the fresh greens next time. 😄
Had a box mix of scalloped potatoes so I’m cooking that too. Ovens on so I might as well cook oven stuff
