Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Judy will pick me up at 1:30 we are going to Olbrick botanical gardens, they have a atrium full of tropical plants and birds and koi fish😍

Finches, Canaries and little Quail that run around the ground they have feeding stations so you get to see them🤓

I will get the 5 piece for left overs, not my first rodeo eating there, That way I can eat fish and have it for breakfast, I love fish and eggs
I didn’t see a 5 piece on the menu.. Maybe a lent special? But I did get it right you would get enough for leftovers.
I looked up Maple Tree, at the time I didn’t know MacFarland. Is that a town or an area of Madison?

Yes great price for prime rib! Julie plans to get fried fish, but I looked at the whole menu I thought all the prices were good.

Good Morning Bellas,It’s going to be a beautiful day into the high 50’s, will hang out with Judy and go for fish fry at the Maole Tree they have a salad bar and its so good and so is the fish it’s beer battered😋Not sure what time we are meeting up but we are meeting a friend of hers at 4:30 at the restaurant, the restaurant opens at 4 and there is always a line to get in.

Good morning Debbie, know her friend isn’t oining us-she doesn’t drive in the dark and it would be dark by the time we are done eating. no news from upnorth. I’m going to wear a wrist brace today that covers my hand too it keeps the hand straight keeps it from curling, my hand tends to curl and that’s when the finger sticks-so see how that works
If you got there at 4 you should have 1.5 hours, but that still pushes it. Does she live too far away for Judy to just pick her up? There are glasses available now to help some people drive after dark. Jo has a pair.

i still want to bring up the solar lights one more time. For safety reasons.
Dont use regular batteries in it. Please READ it UP, regular batteries can be dangerous in a solar light, mess it up, plus they dont make any sense, because the sun is doing the job.
ALL solar lights need rechargeable batteries. Be well and safe.🙂

I guess i missed that conversation……how can she put regular batteries in a solar light? I thought solar light had built in batteries?
Some do come with batteries, but you replace them when they burn out or have to put batteries in like needs 2 AA batties

Never use regular batteries in solar lights !
Some batteries surely are built in, some can get exchanged. But never use the normal batteries, they can start a fire, leak, mess up the light or similar. Not made to be recharged .Why would a person put normal batteries in, which provide the energy, when sunlight is providing the energy and is recharging the rechargeable batteries. ?

OK Gabi, I just do what the light directions say, I put in regular batteries AA, AAA, I have not had a problem also I use the kind that you put in the ground not on a house or deck. I’m safe-Lithium batteries are the bad ones, they can start fires.
