Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. I got to meet Country Joe many times he was Freinds with my friend Dennis RIP, and we would gather at dennises house and Jo would play guitar and sing. He was a wonderful man and so glad I got to hear him sing and hang out and listen to stories, about the war😪

Okay, that one went through. Let’s try again. I have been hanging out with Dutchess today, and I’m doing some important and busy paperwork. Decided to take a break and listen to a little music and ended up watching a video of American bandstand from January 18th 1964, with the song Louie Louie. I have always loved that song, but I did not realize that our parents objected to it so heavily. Sounds like she is feeling better. I wonder if the enlarged heart is related to the lung virus.
Sounds possible. I don’t know though, I did not think to ask the vet. I will ask her when I talk to her next time.
Hello….DH fell asleep so we went to DB’s a bit later…not a fun ride with them but only a few minutes away…DH played frisbee with them for quite awhile..it was soooo windy!!! It’s supposed to be in the 60s but I wore a sweatshirt, jacket, and winter coat…now they should be calm for awhile. I have some baked potato soup from the grocery deli and will have that in awhile. I saw that Barefoot in the Park, one of my sister’s and my favorites, and Moonstruck will be on TCM.

True, Pam. I saw that at the Big Bear nest the wind blew both Jackie and Shadow off their nest yesterday afternoon, in two separate events. It is evidently windy everywhere. 😣
