Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Well, Dutchess had another pain or panic attack. She has been racing around here for 2 hours now, trying to jump on me and then she doesn’t want me to hold her, and then she jumps on me again and then she runs away, and back and forth. I gave her some more medicine. I was able to rock her in my arms for a little bit, but she was too antsy and had to start running around again. She is just starting to settle down a little bit. Is she taking any medicine except the antibiotic?
Yes, an anti-nausea med and a pain med.
Is she throwing up? I guess she has had more than one dose of all these medicines by now?
How is she doing now? Has she settled down?
She was throwing up before we saw the vet — none today, though, yet. Yes, she has just had the 2nd of two of them, and I think the 4th of one. Takes a while, I guess. ☹️😥 I think the main problem is nausea.

Karen Marie, call the vet and ask about side effects of the medication, or look it up your self and then call and ask about the medicine, could be a reaction to the medication. I myself would call and ask questions, if I noticed behavior changes. Or it just could be she’s running because she feels better? advice call the vet😘 hope she settled down and you were able to do so to💖

Hello I’m home bra off PJ”s on😍food was good and so was the company,spent time outside all day , played withJudy’s little dog alot. He’s a busy little guy-kind of like to much to handle, helped Judy work on some training things for him. He needs to listen and not bolt when a gate or a door is opened-he could end up getting hit by a car.
