Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. I can tell you exactly what I was doing on this date, another Friday the 13th, but 2015. A call about this time of the day, Mom in ER after coding, put on a ventilator. I hastily threw a few things in a bag, just enough underwear and medicine for a couple days. I couldn’t get a motel room because the SEC tournament was in town.

We all have them Julie. I got a birthday present yesterday. I came across something that made me think, maybe I didn’t kill my mother by starving her to death.
Did she starve to death?
The death certificate said aspiration due to Parkinsons. I told them no feeding tube. The thing I read yesterday was they told me she probably wouldn’t make it through the surgery.
Honey as you know aspirating is not starving. Feeding tube or not she had Parkenson’s, and you made dessisions for her care with the knowlage you had, there is no cure and the surgery would of been to much for her to endure and how long do you let someone suffer? you did what you could and you were there for her, she loved you Debbie and remember she never had to worry about you😘
Thank you Julie. Tina was mad I let them put the respirator on the second time, she really would have had a fit if I did the feeding tube. She was mad at both Nancy and I because we “let” Mom have surgery to drain a liver cyst. That was at least t years before she died and she was living independently.
😘Hugs………..I felt bad that i left the home where she lived when she couldnt breathe although I didnt know what was wrong with her and when i left I told her she would be ok and she shook her head NO and the next day she went to the hospital, dies 4 days later. Muriel and i were there with her 24/7

There wasn’t more than that you could do. You got her to the hospital. It was 4 days until you lost her. Leaving that night didn’t change it. And you had no reason to believe she was in distress. My Mom was in the hospital Until April 1, April Fool’s day, 19 days.
I didnt get her to the hospital, they said i didnt need to call her Dr and that she would be ok

My mom had alzheimers. She was in a care -home. One winter evening i had the sudden feeling that i need to see her. I drove to the home , lots of snow on the forest road, i was singing like “thank you mom for everything” , made up songs myself and was singing them in my car for mom. It was weird. When i got there she had died a few minutes before. Still weird when i think about it.
Very sorry for your mom, but you and sister were there with her.
Your mother was in that car with you, maybe before you left your home. She heard you sing. I had an experience like that once, a very long time ago, not involving family.
It felt like i had somehow been with her while she passed away , and i think it was also God’s work, that it happened like that.
I believe you were Gabi. With your Mom when she passed. I bet if you had stayed home she would have been with you there too, but maybe you would have had less privacy at home. Both of my sisters believe their deceased husbands visited them.
Well, i personally dont believe in visits from dead people, but i was thankful that i could sing for mama and very intensely think of her .

I do believe, especially when they have recently died. Then later on some believe the spirit goes to a different level.
I believe and hope that my soul will be with God after i died.

Debbie, it takes a long time, to starve someone. I dont think that caused her death.
They didn’t give water either but I didn’t tell them that, only the feeding tube. I really never thought of that before.
You told them the feeding tube. I dont think that made a difference for your mom. It didnt starve your mom (from how i understand it) , but it also wouldnt have saved her. The doctors didnt give water because they probably didnt have hope for your mom. It was their decision. You can go without eating for longer than a month.

Ky got beat in the SEC tournament. The football coach just got fired. The basketball coach better watch out. Basketball rules in KY, always has, way over football. The current coach ranks 6th nation wide in pay. The coach has ranked #2. There isn’t a lot of give and take, the coach is expected to win. It has been a few years now and the coach hasn’t produced.
Just like people are really into the Wildcat basketball team more so than the football team
There are football states to, but not our states.
Such is the life of a coach-the thing is your only as good as your talent is, if you have 0 good players your not going to win and if your not winning no one will want to play for the school its a on going cycle
That is true. They can’t recruit the best if their current team isn’t the best. But……it seems the best coaches find a way to win even without the best players to break the cycle. Seems sometimes it is unfair to coaches, but then again, sorta unfair the coach makes 5.6 million a year while a top ranking research professor makes maybe 400 K. Capriati I think made over 8 million a year, and I’m not sure that included endorsements.
that is true. In the last few years our football team has a better coach and better players.
We had Lute Olson from Iowa come in 1983 and coached for 24 years which REALLY made our Wildcats Basket ball 🏀teams great and boys wanted to play for them!

Good morning! It is still morning here…lol Lots of chatting going on…..Not much happening here today. I walked and it is light out now at 6:15 instead of 6:30 so not long and I can walk at 5:00am. Then i gave myself what i call a manicure and will apply nails tomorrow. I rewashed parts of the windows I washed because they were dirty already!!! I did some laundry too. Those flowers are beautiful WOW!!!! Hot dogs sound so good😋 hope Nikki has no squirts from the kraut, kraut is suppose to be good for gut health in dogs as long as its just kraut no onions or anything else in it

Casey was done 2 hours ago! I called Nancy. The first hour went fine. Then I made a question about long ago family and she started talking about things and people I don’t know, never did and retold one story I guess I’ve heard a dozen times.
Same ol’ Nancy😍Judy does that all the time, she still talks about people up north and tells stories that she thinks I know what she’s talking about so our conversations can get pretty confusing😜 its like, I wasn’t there at that party or I wasn’t there for that dinner or that canoe trip😂
