Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. I just put the corn beef in the crock pot
Bet that is a good way to cook it.
that’s what DH does, when he makes it
He seems to cook a lot.
I usually cook it in the oven, I can take it out and brown it in the oven, when its done I just didn’t want to be tied down to cooking today
Oh seems to me browning doesn’t make it that much better in relation to the time it takes unless you want to make gravy.
To me the texture is better cooking in the oven more flavor when meat is browned-corned beef no gravey it makes a good broth, like boiled dinner
Ricks recipe for the oven doesnt call for browning
We are going for a drink or two so that is why we decided it is easier time wise
Rick was going to bake it in the oven but i saw a recipe for a crock pot so he is going to do that.
