Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Mama is taking good care of the baby.
I would think that when she sits on the babies and gives them that shade, they cool off quickly. She certainly does seem like a good mom.

Had you thought Karen of mushing Dutchess’s food in ice cube trays, some of the larger ones, freeze and empty the cubes in one bigger bag? If she is eating 4 times a day then an ice cube might be the right size if you pick out the right tray. I think it would be faster.

Poor little babies! It’s so miserable to be hot, even for the little ones I’m sure. I wonder if they cool off as Mama sits on them, as she provides shade. 😥

If it doesn’t taste good? the whiskey won’t taste good-has to be mixed just right-some bartenders think they are doing you a favor by making a drink strong, but that just makes a bad tasting drink
If I pay the money drinks cost in restaurants it is gonna be drank, but I would pawn it off on Rick and order me something else! Ardy didn’t say it was too strong but doesn’t like the flavor.

My favorite straight is Maker’s Mark bourbon. But I didn’t buy it very often because I really prefer it mixed, like bourbon and coke. Mixed drinks are ok with a cheaper booze.
