Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. I was so proud of them, Julie. If I had been in Minn, I would have been among them. Sitting on the side of the road, but I would have been there. They really held up the whole country. They all deserve medals.

Back from a walk, I got to see a lot of flowers coming up, yesterdays heat really made them pop😍

I ate half of a lemon pepper tuna pouch for lunch (half because this is the bigger pouch) ..doing laundry and switching some clothes.
I love the lemon pepper tuna Lynn its so tastey😋 I didn’t know they have larger pouches. I just get the small ones at the Dollar store
I prefer the smaller ones but I put the rest in a container for tomorrow. Not sure why I have these big ones, maybe they were on sale.
I eat some of those pouches, I’m not sure I’ve had the lemon but probably. I’ll be glad when we have true homegrown tomatoes. The tuna will be good with them.

PS: remember my “fresh air”? Fabric softener/room scent sweet smell (stinky) mixed with kitchen and bathroom smells from the romanians under me , all the time. Oh joy !
