Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. She over wintered in the ground, now she will go lay eggs😍 that’s one reason its not good to do yard work to early. You could kill a Bumble Bee, or firefly who are in the ground.
I did not know that. I will wait a little longer to get started.
She wants to find a nest first and prepare it, then the eggs will come.
We have many wild bees and so around the house now, looking for a good nest space. There are “insect hotels” , which you can buy for them.
We have these such houses for bees to over winter in, but Bumble bees over winter in the ground plus they are to big for the little bee structures of these bee houses. I did at the botanical gardens see bees flying around their bee hives they are awake but no blooms yet. The bee keeper feeds them a sugar water so they have something to eat
The insect hotels i was talking about are for different kinds of insects , to build their small nests in different sized openings.
Also to overwinter in it.
We dont have many bees any more in the last years, but i already saw some and we already have flowers and trees blooming.
I already had given sugar water to weak bees many times, it helps to buzz again, lol.

wow the website said $80, free shipping, cool!!! I got 2 seasalt honey and pepper. It is really good. and one teriyaki.
How much do you pay per pack, jerky is higher than I thought. I guess I’ve never bought it before. I’m not sure but I don’t think I saw the honey flavor.

I bought on Amazon so the pricing is different sometimes. I did go to their site and saw one flavor for $9.99. Amazon had different prices for different flavors. I saw $7.99, $9.99, $12.99. I also thought the prices might be different at a street fair. I’ll try to be better and more thorough with googling.

Most jerky is low fat because lean cuts of meat are used to make it

Good flavors😋Teriyaki is a little to salty for me, with the ones I have had different brands. But teriyaki is salty, it just more concentrated in the curring process.
I guess I’ll see. I got that one because it was on sale at 7.99.

Just make sure the Chicken has no growth hormone or anti biotics in it, it should say on the label if its not been treated.
