Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Good late morning…I’ve been doing some laundry and also found a few donations either for the resale shop that helps the homeless or a church sale..also a bag of rags that one of the resale shops takes…clothes, towels and things that can’t be donated. DH left to work some more at his dad’s..he was tired though, did rest awhile this morning. Good Morning Debbie😍I’m calm and nothing surprises me anymore, I just hate that the loss of empathy and respect is now our new normal, I choose to reject that and its not how I was raised, and for my health I’m stronger having empathy towards others and its part of me of who I am as a person.
