Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA

Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.

There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. The chicks will continue to grow in the nest for about three to four weeks before fledging. More information about the cams, set-up or to make a donation please visit alyssasnaturesanctuary.org.

Had a nice walk today, suns out little wind, I’m worried about a Nuclear Bomb being used today, threats to completely destroy a country with 93 milluon in it, is just so scary, I’m in a panic trying to calm down-thinking calmly doesn’t make it better😫 Just so worried I don’t want people to die😪💔

How else do you completely destroy a country? with a big bomb, waiting to see what happens but the threats have been made

The southern area of this country, called in the 1860’s the Confederacy, was pretty much destroyed as a “nation”. But the area, people and basically the culture, way of life was preserved. Thank God we are one country, with all of our regional diversity.
Threats should not be made or tolerated.

Civilians are standing on bridges and in road ways waiting to see if they live or die, with their children😪

They also are surounding power plants-they want the US pilots to see who they are bombing-this idea is a brilliant one, what else can they do? Its very brave of them-mean time Isreal is doing what Isreal does IDF is bombing hospitals, markets, apartment buildings, schools, just like what they did in Gaza. To make people suffer

Brave ?? They are human shields, made to be there, i am very sure.
And i have fullest understanding for israel. It keeps being attacked from those folks since such a long time. Plus it can not be independently verified in this country what israel really hits.

Pam I’m just so scared-the threats are war crimes, you can’t threaten to kill a whole civilization and take them back to the stone age, sure makes me feel safe🙄

You have had a raw carrot that’s fresh, but just right out of the ground is so good peek flavor😋we always had a outdoor salt shaker, like in the garage so we could eat them (the carrots) right away

Good late morning…sunny and high in the 40s today…we were going to go to FIL’s to see a caregiver who we haven’t seen in a long time but plans have changed, maybe tomorrow. I got a text from my sister, she got a different dress for the wedding she’s going to, I liked the other one better, lol..the other one had a white background and small blue flowers..this one is a long blue one, more plain but I guess maybe it would be considered more elegant for a fancy wedding. I just finished laundry…going to try on a few things… Read more »
