Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. They released her to a group home, she cut off her ankle monitor and made it to Chicago before they caught up to her, can’t make this stuff up, probably will be going back to jail.The thing is Madison police didn’t know she was in a group home until she took off and was reported missing. She was going to be in a group home in another city but people didn’t want her there so they found another group home here in Madison and the public didn’t know. I’m glad you are home safely and had a good time. I just saw this post even though I’ve popped in here every 10 minutes or so. I don’t know how that happens. Good night Ardy I hope you can sleep.
