Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. The chicks will continue to grow in the nest for about three to four weeks before fledging. More information about the cams, set-up or to make a donation please visit alyssasnaturesanctuary.org.

There you are! I’ve been wondering about you, kept looking for you. Great photos. Where there 8 of you, the same people from the weekend. You are getting to see them a lot, that is terrific. So you weren’t all that pleased with the food? It looks good to me. Lots of dips and condiments, salsas. I hope you had a terrific time. You were gone a long time. I was anxious to hear about it. Thanks very much for all the photos.
There were 10 of us. Tim and Bina came too, part of the old work gang. It was good dont get me wrong but we prefer South Tucson, just good ole authentic food, no frills.
Were all these people Marriott employees?
Everyone but Bob,Tom and me and Bina
So just 3 spouses?

Then I cleaned up a few things and spent a couple of hours talking with my sister-in-law. And then I took a short nap. After that I got up and started working on my 2026 insurance stuff again. THAT wore me out and took a long time, so I haven’t done anything else other then eat lunch. I have accidentally been quite busy but not enthralled with it all. Now it is… Read more »
