Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Good evening…sitting on my porch. Lynn, I know I responded to this post, but I can’t find it now. Maybe it fell off or maybe I didn’t hit send. Anyway I bet that was so much fun going to that sanctuary. I would have just loved being there with those animals. Were you able to touch them or pet them or anything?

It is just so frustrating. I really don’t understand that. I’ve had the same email since 1995.
I’ve had comcast for well over 20 years; they just decided not to maintain the platform and had the user convert to yahoo. the comcast email address still works, i just can’t go thru xfinity to get it anymore.
What do you have to do to convert?
Pam, I have had Yahoo email at home since Day 1, back in 1998 or 1999, I think. So far it has been great. Runs real well with the Firefox browser for me – I use CenturyLink Link now, but it worked well when I had Comcast too. Secure without lots of ads. I hope it all starts working smoothly for you quickly. 🤗

Email? It is done by our local telephone, internet provider. They are like a co-op. They used to do cable tv but quit that. So we had to go streaming. There was no other choice. Hi Karen!
My local cable provider used to be Qwest, then u.s. west, then Cablevision, then another local name, then something else a few times, then a choice of Comcast or Century Link after streaming started. I don’t think I had email until after streaming started, but I’m not sure. My first e-mail was America On Line. AOL. Noone ever hears about them anymore. But I still have an AOL email account in addition to a Yahoo email account..
A lot of different cables. I didn’t have cable at all until I moved to KY in 1977. Before that we just had broadcast tv. But I had the local company from 1980 until, maybe starting in 1978 until they quit in 2024! Email started in 1995 when I got my first computer.
I didn’t get email until I got my first computer either.
So you can’t get at Yahoo or at AOL or at anything else but your current provider?
I could definitely get google mail or yahoo but I don’t need them as long as I have what I have. It works good and all the people have that address since 1995. I’ve never had another address.

He was a minute late i think but i read they gave hi the finish, which he deserved.
He did the best he could and didn’t give up, and to me he did finish because he crawled across the line, he was right there
Yes he did finish.
I’m glad they counted him as finishing, even being a minute over the official end time. His family/friends must be so proud of him; as he should be of himself.
He was in so much pain……he walked like I did when i had a herniated disc.

Converted my email from comcast to yahoo; so far, it hasn’t been particularly successful; not entirely sure how i’m going to get any email 😭 tried sending to the comcast address from one of the minor ones i use, it never appeared; however when i tried sending a test from yahoo to the comcast address, it worked just fine. I cannot tell you how much i hate change 😡

I’m back inside think I’m done for the day unless I get a second wind, I put out a humming bird feeder I got to see a white crown sparrow and bonus also got to see a Baltimore Oriole, actually heard him before I saw him. He was singing at the top of a tree, his orange just pops against the leaves😍
