Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Good Morning Bellas, birds are singing up a storm, this morning its mostly Cardinal’s the males are singing for a female and the males are fighting, get 3-4 males chasing each other around is a sight🤓 I have more out door stuff planned today, hope your Saturday lans go 😘

I haven’t seen the chipmunk in a few days maybe raising young? If I don’t see it I sure do hear it

We have a gray squirrel that was living under our shed , the other day it went down a hole in Gary’s yard that Rick thought belonged to a chipmunk

Good evening…I let my DB’s dog out for awhile, took him in, then we played with our dogs in the yard, frisbee. DH is eating the rest of the taco leftovers, I’m not hungry at the moment…watching the Cubs, my mom has been pretty excited about them doing so well lately. 😀
