Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Good morning Bella Buds and a good Sunday to you. I’ll be watching a lot of tennis the next couple weeks, it is the French Open. This first week I will do a lot of skimming through matches, stopping when it is a favorite player or a match appears very competitive. Does the cayenne pepper deter all the varmints that might get in your garden? I know it wouldn’t deter Casey, he can eat hot red pepper. The capsaicin doesn’t affect them. You will be so proud of your garden and enjoy the really fresh produce.
I hope you get the water turned on. I don’t know how you have done without it this long.
I’m not sure if the pepper will work I’m just trying it to see if it does work, I don’t like causing something pain-I will do some reach on it
It may cause pain, but probably just once, they will learn. You have to eat too.

Not yet, I might need to bring the ladder down in the basement to be able to reach the knob, I just am finishing my coffee talked to my Mom for over a hour, my Dad is still adjusting to the new medication, they said it could take a month before it really starts working for him, if its going to. She feels like he won’t make it home again and that’s hard to hear, I’m just processing our conversation
Julie what is the medicine for and what is it that prevents your Dad from coming home? There are home services and things like that. Is it that he needs tho gs that can’t be done at home?
I googled the cayanne pepper method and it said to use cayanne so I was on the right track
They may know not to get it on them or eat it just by breathing.

I was feeding the baby and got interested in a youtube gorilla video. I am just amazed by them for some reason. ☺️
Gorillas are amazing animals.
They are very smart. And they love their families. Just a couple of things. I was taught as a kid that they were monsters who ate people. 😒
Oh no, they are gentle for the most part. I admired Diane Fossey so much, but wish she had taken a different approach with the people there with the gorillas.
I don’t know too much about her, but I do admire her. And then there was Koko.
