Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Hi all, had good day planting just took some figuring where things were going to go, my garden is only small and not square so I have to plan where I plant things and think of the size it will grow, have to utilize my space I have and still be able to walk in it. Yep, Banquet. I love applesauce. Good for digestion, too. I do a lot of oatmeal too, in various forms.

The saguaro fruit (bahidaj) is harvested in the Sonoran Desert during June and early July. The bright red, naturally sweet fruit is gathered in the early morning using a traditional long pole (the k’uipud or kuipaD) to knock the fruit down before summer monsoons spoil it.
Saguaros are always late with their fancy ‘Easter Bonnets’ 💐 Don’t those look like flowered hats on their heads?

Hello……….went to church and it was a lovely service. A lady named Candace has been sitting with me for a year or so and her niece knits things. She has given me an angel and a rabbit. Today she gave me a mermaid….she thought it reminded her of me!!!! lol I told her I dont even swim. She had a word of how I look all the time but I cant remember it now….my poor memory!!
