Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. 🦅Eagle World News: I saw on YouTube that Bella and Scout at the NCTC (SPO) nest fledged their first eaglet yesterday. After the 2 or 3 years trying. One more to go this year. So happy for them!! ❤️
And Snow is doing good. I believe the bones have healed, and they’re just working on the respiratory issues. They are also running some tests, to include a gender test. Go beautiful Snow! ❤️

We went to the grocery store and dropped off another hamburger at my mom’s. Julie, I read your reply to me…don’t think we are going there more than usual, actually less than other years but DH is so busy (I mean the cemetery)…there are people there all the time..walking dogs, walking, biking, etc..any vandalism is most likely during the night. I should check and see if I missed any other posts..
