Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Jo’s nephew lives close to one of the places but he is not in danger. Her sister isn’t either, but the road is closed between her house and Shepherdsville. She can get there via the interstate which is right there.

Howdy to BellaFam 💖 After last night’s storm, lots of standing water and trees down all over town, thankfully, not out here; we were lucky. 😔 Chuck made tacos yesterday, i wasn’t invited. How does the crab come? Is it fresh, canned, maybe frozen legs? I’ve seen those. I know king crab that comes in leg clusters.
