Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Hey Bellas back from my walk I was sitting outside with Jade for a bit, she really wanted to get out side she even took her leash and harness down off the hook to tell me, she’s a smart critter😂Going to take a shower in a bit. Did my toe nails Deep red with sparkles in it. Need to hydrate, so having a Blueberry, Pomegrante vitamin water right out of the fridge. its nice and cold😋

Good morning. I’ve been busy as usual. I walked. Didn’t see any wild animals today which is good. Fed the birds watered my plants. Took pictures of the palm trees since we’re getting them trimmed on Monday. Colored my hair now I’m washing towels. It’s hot already. It’s 94° at 9:30 and it’s making me tired.

It depends on the people…..the house next door never has had the one trimmed.
The bottom frawn die and dry out and the top is full of fruit……they dont look nice if you dont have them trimmed.

we thought it was a date palm but we had a lady come out because she wanted the dates and when she got here she said they weren’t dates they were fruit so she wouldn’t take them
Can you eat the fruit? I ordered this palm stuff from Amazon. It is imported from Ecuador. It is made into a rice or spaghetti substitute for those who are limiting carbs. I bought the rice version to eat with the Chinese I bought a couple weeks ago. I got a little rice and mixed them. The palm is rather bland on its own but it takes on the flavor of the Chinese. we have them trimmed at least every other year
When Judy would go to Florida to get her Mom, she would get up on a ladder and trim her Mom’s palm trees for her and even put Christmas lights on them too, I’m not sure how big the trees were? all I know is Judy hated doing it

Hope everyone is doing well today. I want to watch the documentary today about Navratilova/Evert. It will not include the latest that Evert’s cancer is back. She had been in remission and was planning on being a commentator at Wimbledon, which she has cancelled.

You might be able to afford it now. Prices have come down. The pills are not as good but cheaper. There are a lot of generic versions. In TN I think Nancy pays $50 a month and gets it at her doctors’ office. It is the same as Wegovy, just generic. Nancy doesn’t have really good insurance.

I don’t think you have seen this one. It is only on Netflix and lasts 96 minutes. I had to pay $8.99 to get Netflix for a month. I even googled to see if it would be on any more channels.

The one on tv was more like an interview that lasted 15-20 minutes. They were actually on several talk shows or news. This is a more detailed documentary, 96 minutes long (I googled). It was just added to Netflix yesterday. They were on tv promoting it, like some stars do for movies or authors do for their new books.
