Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Nancy didn’t have any weather problems today. Little Vienna will be 1 year tomorrow, at least the party is tomorrow. I can’t get over all these birthday parties for one year olds.

I’m home I’m tired drinking a Root beer going to do a gummy and lay down, The band was really good they were a blues band but did Johnny DSach too the BB king was excelent guy had a great voice😘 Judy and her gal Freinds all danced we did the twist, that was a sight to see😂

Just got home, it was lots of fun met lots of Judy’s freindsshe hung out with when she was younger really nice folks got to see her grandson and his girl freind she’s so sweet and is from Canada- shes looking forward to eating some cheese curds the don’t have them in Louisiana, also Judy’s son Dana who bought us dinner at Taco Hell

People brought chairs I grabbed a picnic table in the shade set up chairs around it-was good to have the shade a breeze off the lake was nice didn’t break a sweat😍

About 83 except in kitchen and basement. Starting to cool a bit now. Should be OK in bedroom in about an hour or so, with fan.

4 with unfinished concrete basement. Not down there much. The house is really not that big. It’s only 1800 ft on the three floors.

Yep, we are always doing something different. And yes, the stairs are probably why I’m not totally handicapped now.
