Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Has anyone seen the movie Armageddon? Is it any good. I don’t generally like these kind of movies but sometimes they have good secondary stories. It is on tonight, 3.5 hours. So a lot of time to watch. Oh course I can fast forward a lot of commercials.

I saw some of the parades too ♥ Watched Canada win and head to round of 16 🏐 a 1st for them; pretty stoked! I have a lot of Canadian friends 😘

Holly was begging. She didn’t get any human food. She was drooling a little then shook her head so that’s why there’s slobber on her face.

Those portable AC units are popular in Europe now. Gabi, my German friend has one. A lot of people in Europe didn’t need AC until global warming. Their’s are different than most people here. There is a separate outdoor part. It isn’t just vented out a window.
Well I’m glad they have them. Heard on the news that people were dying in the heat and from drowning to stay cool. Just awful. So sad.
It is bad. Some of the older hospitals aren’t air conditioned.
Yeah I seen that. I also heard that the government doesn’t allow A/C units to be installed because some of those buildings are historically significant and they don’t want to change the integrity of the buildings.
That is right. Gabi says that. She thinks it is bad for people in those hospitals. Build new hospitals and turn the old ones into unairconditioned museums.

Yes. The first clutch she had 4 babies. Don’t know yet how many she has now. I’m worried because the heat is coming and momma Robin is already hot and it’s only 85 degrees.
Just give her plenty water she can bath in. They are out of the sunlight. She will be fine.

We went through several locations and hummers. Bella was in S Calif, then northern Idaho, then back to S Calif, Oceanside is the name of the town. We have had at least 3 mama’s here.

I broke a bottle of olive oil once but it wasn’t as hard to clean as this. Somehow I managed to drop a partially filled container of cottage cheese. Doesn’t sound too bad, right? Wrong. It splattered a distance of about 6 feet. A dry paper towel wouldn’t work so I wet it. That didn’t work well because it wanted to crumble out of the paper towel, even wet. Good afternoon. Church was very nice today since it was band camp this week for the kids. Instead of calling it Bible school. They learned how to play the bells. The ukulele and they sang. It was fun. The whole service was them. Then I went to the Walmart neighborhood market for a few things. Plus they have blueberry coffee where they don’t have it in my Walmart as of yet. they had different ages of kids all the way from four to eighteen so the young ones they were fun and cute to watch, some of them didn’t even sing but they knew when to move their hands watching the choir director.

I guess our regular Bible school was not what it used to be and was not popular so much anymore and we have a new choir director and she came up with band camp and it’s been a hit the last two years that it’s been on they had 43 kids and 45 volunteers from our church to help. Many of the children came from neighborhoods around they don’t even go to our church so it was a great turn out.
Thats what a church is suppose to do welcome everyone, I belonged to Luther League we had a night time meeting where we played games and ordered pizza even had dances. Everyone was welcome😍

Yeah markets are more of a grocery store even though they’re pretty good sized but I knew there would be less people and even though I don’t know my way around it that well I knew it wouldn’t take me all that long. I just didn’t wanna deal with the new store Finding my way around to buy a few things and dealing with the people in the parking lot today it’s just too Dang hot

I walked by Jade’s vet clinic to go to the Dollar store and there was a bunch of people in there with Ferrets they were having a Ferret open house and rescue so of course I had to go in, I got to hold a sweet albino ferret named pixie. 😍It was my lucky day💖
