Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Thank you Debbie. 😘 I put a little double-fan unit in my bedroom window at night. It gets cool outside at night, and the little thing works perfectly for cooling off. Thank God. I have a/c units in the office and kitchen, but it gets so hot during the day, and we move around a lot, so they can’t keep up as well as a night-time unit. Anyway, I hope you stay cool as well, with peaceful dreams. Love to you, dear sweet Debbie. ☺️😏

Ardyth, I gotta start reading entire posts … you talked about the Javelinas and then making croutons & that you ate them like a snack. My 1st thought was that you ate the Javelinas as a snack 😂 Been laughing about/to my silly self all afternoon. 😂
Oh and about the Chicago Bears moving to Indiana, i asked Chuck if the NFL was planning to rename them the Gary Bears?? As in Gary, Indiana 🏈 I think old-age has captured what’s left of my brain 🙄

I am going to have to change my chat habits. I always check my bell and respond, all through the day and I have tonight. But I don’t have a ball which would alert me to posts that are not replies to me. I miss a lot of posts when I just pop in throughout the day and I know it is because of the ball. I actually stop in and look for new posts🤓most are at the top, easy to find😘I never use the bell, because its way at the top and I have to scroll to see it, the ball is just there, works sometimes for a post. Food is cooked got stuff out of the dryer think I’m going to do the usual and say good night, just carried my laundry up two flights of steps and that’s it I’m done till tomorrow, Judy is picking me up at 3:30pm so I will have time to get more things done. That’s always been my mind-set, “why do you care?” It’s really no one’s business but their own; just like all of us.
Same for immigrants. I discovered on Facebook my second cousins Cuban husband who lived here 40 years. He worked for Volkswagen, I’m sure making very good money. A very nice looking 60 year old. Was at a fancy campground in Florida with my cousin and his wife. They were with it looked like a camping club. I think he was deported to Mexico with papers proving him legal. They did it anyway. The last post I saw was late 2024.
Debbie, I couldn’t stop thinking about this post. Can you imagine what that would feel like? For him and his whole network of family/friends. I still don’t understand why hurting people is necessary.
It is not necessary. It will never be necessary. I honestly believe only people who have truly committed real crimes should be deported, especially if they have lived here as much as ten years and done everything a good citizen should do, except vote. I believe that should only be for citizens, including naturalized ones. I’m heading right now for bed. Love you and hugs. You get your sleep to. Hugs for the little baby.
