Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Oh I am so glad to have made it here!! 💗 I just spent the last 30-60 minutes actually in the Outer Limits. While watching the rain earlier, all cuddled up with Dutchess, she and I fell asleep. I felt so rested when we woke up, I “knew” we had slept for more than 4 hours. So taking the stand that it had to be Thursday morning, I spent lots of time trying to change my clock’s current time/date, as well as all of the alarm times, which appeared to be 12 hours off. Karen I have had that happen in the winter because its dark at night and in the morning, I have woken up and think its the next day🙄 it throws you for a loop and is scary.
