Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. It has to do with breathing they are drawn to the carbon dioxide we exhale then blood, they smell you because we leave a trail

When we were dishing up supper in the kitchen Roger just plopped down on the floor , he was hot! Had to walk around the other way
Roger was making a cat puddle, when its hot better to keep them inside they can’t sweat to cool down
If they want they want out……they know when to come back in. They sleep inside most of the day.

Ohhhhhhhhhh we had him before I saw Roger in concert. Ricks BF had a cat named Roger after Roger Waters from Pink Floyd so he asked Dick if he could name our stray that adopted us Roger.
