Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. I worry when others depart from their usual. One person could cause me worry if they are gone just a few hours because it is unusual for them. Here’s the story…we were at the party, I was in the kitchen getting pizza and chatting with one of the coworkers…turned around and couldn’t believe what I was seeing! I knew he was worse but I didn’t know that one.

Hi Lynn! 🤗 I am so glad you all had such a nice time at your father-in-law’s birthday. He actually looks quite amazing for his age.
