Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. I think I told you that my flight from San Francisco to Tucson was canceled so they rebooked me. So that’s why I flew out at 5:00 this morning with about two 3 hours of sleep. But I’m in Denver now. I had about a 20-minute walk from concourse b to a and I’m just hanging out. I’ve got a couple hour or more layover but boarding soon. Get home at 1:24 Tucson time

Good late morning…last night my sister came over late..she had been out of town with our mom, visiting both aunts/uncles, different towns..then they went to our mom’s and DB came over for awhile..chatted but also worked on a couple things…she came over kind of late so we just watched a show…it’s COLD out today! the feels like was in the teens…kind of windy also. yes, we’ll see…there will be detours because of road construction so will depend on that, how crazy it is..and if she has time. Not sure what she is planning on doing today.

Good morning Bella Buds and good day to you. I have a dentist appointment at 2, just cleaning. But I know I will be given another appointment because he told me last visit my “bondings” need to be replaced. These go at the gum line where the gum has receded a bit.
