Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. The chicks will continue to grow in the nest for about three to four weeks before fledging. More information about the cams, set-up or to make a donation please visit alyssasnaturesanctuary.org.

Just finished watching the live stream of the Parade of Lights in LaJunta; saw Santa throw candy to the kids 🎄🎅🎄🎅🎄
That sounds fun.
That would be cute! 🤗
Julie: You can buy poop at the coop
Coop = Co-op store.
Little boys all over the world would love that, Julie. 😅
The goat cam has flashing Christmas lights, I think from 6-7 ET. So to see them right now you have to back track to that time frame. Seems all that flashing might disturb the goats? But they didn’t look disturbed.
Rick texted the landlord in CA about the rooster…..he must of gotten in touch with our neighbors and he texted Rick back and said the rooster jut showed up and they keep trying to get rid of it and it keeps coming back and they are going to take it to the humane society.
I dont believe them…I have never seen a rooster wandering around on my walks!!!!🐓
I like them but not hearing them all day…we used to hear a rooster? or maybe guinea hen across the ravine..that was a few years ago.
Rick said its a young red rooster and cute but…..they are illegal in the city limits because they are noisy.
Are you not hearing it any more?
Oh yes it is still crowing
😖😏
If he is there, I bet he is so lonely! And I wonder how he would have gotten there?
Debbie, i love the new Christmas sweatshirt; can’t go wrong with a Peanuts’ theme 🎄
Thanks Pam. I have several polo shirts I can wear under it. White, light blue, yellow, red. Of course any more I don’t know what fits, what doesn’t. 😏
I mentioned mine below..red and short sleeved so I wear a long sleeved top under it.
I bet it is cute.
well, it’s just a t shirt, have had it for years, really don’t wear it that much.
Howdy-do BellaFam 💖
Showered and did a big recycle run. The snow was melting at an alarming rate; looked like it was raining in front of the door to the recycle building. I backed the car all the way in to keep the volunteers from getting soaked while trying to get stuff out of the trunk. It’s a sunny 54 degrees outside 🌞
Today would’ve been Charlene’s 74th birthday, sure do miss her.
Hi Pam, you got that chore done for awhile I imagine. I know you miss Charlene but you were fortunate to have her in your life. If she were still living she would not be very old.
Happy heavenly birthday to Charlene♥♥
yes, happy heavenly birthday 💕
Thanks Lynn 💗
Thanks Ardyth 💗
Pam, it was dark and freezing here at the time you posted this. Brrrr ….. Supposed to be warmer tmrw. Mourning loved ones drains me. It’s a necessary thing, though. I’m sad for you, Pam. 🌹
Good afternoon…we went to the inside Christmas farmer’s market and also walked through part of the outdoor market..got some jams and treats for gifts…also got some Christmas stamps at the P.O. DH brought down some decorations, but I need the tote, hasn’t brought that down yet.
Hi Lynn. I bet the Christmas market was a lot of fun to shop. A lot of people would rather have good edible gifts than anything. Most of us older people have a lot of “stuff”.
these gifts were mostly for the caregivers..I did get one for my mom and sister but I do buy “stuff” too lol
Hi Lynn ♥ great they have an indoor Christmas farmer’s market; our Christlmarkt is outside and can be Very Cold.
the indoor one was today for just a few hours…my friend is going to make more Christmas jam for me and drop it off, there wasn’t enough…the outdoor one is four weekends….I’m waiting until next weekend to buy the flavored popcorn but it will be a lot colder…
Flavored popcorn?
So you are getting started, Lynn. Have fun!
