Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Holy Cow! I could hear some weird noise coming from the hall-credenza where i keep several of my electrical kitchen appliances; air fryer, electric fry pan, toaster oven, George Foreman — finally got up to investigate. I had used the Foreman at 1.30 to crisp up a quesadilla and forgot to unplug it — So grateful i didn’t burn the house down before noticing 😫 and the DBs have no chance of ever finding out what i did 😟 Just like when i forget to lock the front door; i NEVER say a word.
Do you have to unplug it for it to turn off?

Thanks Debbie. You have the best insurance. The teachers never got paid what they deserved, but they did get some hard-earned retirement. Thank God for that, and that there is some incentive there for new teachers.
Ky does take care of their teachers salaries are lower than most states but retirement is good.
I have a paper garland that I haven’t used in awhile..you take cookie cutters and cut shapes out of old Christmas cards that you don’t want (I save lots of them)..and then string together with ribbon, tie in little bows..then drape them somewhere up high..I usually hang then in front of a big window, it’s kind of long..might have DH do it, you put it up with tape.
