Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Cats are different as you know but I bet the house is cold and Jade will be lonely w/o Julie. But Judy doesnt live close and she has a lot going on in her life right now.
Judy is about 20 minutes away.

When she came home from up north – i think after christmas that time, she found the cat on the cold floor. Was dead soon after that. I think , this bruce had looked after her, but cat was elderly and COLD.
Ardyth, your finger looks so sore. I don’t know if you use a mouse or the touchpad on your laptop. I got this set and have been very happy with it. i put the long wrist support across right over the top of the touchpad & use the mouse pad with the built-in rest with the mouse. i know it helped me so much.

I used to use just a wrist rest; the kind that goes completely across the bottom of the keyboard, mostly covering the touchpad. It’s been a game changer for me. My wrist used to hurt all the time.

Yes, it’s in my lap. and use a laptop cushion. i’ve had it so long, Belkin doesn’t even make them like this anymore — it’s old and ugly 😁 Targus has a 17 inch cushioned pad

I have new internet wi-fi; i’m so excited; it’s so much faster than the old one. i can even feel myself typing faster than usual 😄 Called the old company and they’ll send a box/label to send back 3 pieces of equipment.

Just read about Julie’s Dad; sure hope he’s going to be okay; bad enough to lose a parent any time, but at Christmas just seems to make it worse 🙏🙏
Congrats Pam enjoy! So this is your internet service? Does it affect tv also? Did your tv change? I’m not sure if you have cable, satellite or a streaming service. Cable and streaming are both really thru the fiber optic, at least for me. We got fiber optic years ago and the coaxial cable line went away replaced by the fiber optic, but the tv cable service with the box DVR stayed and of course internet. So cable and internet both came over the fiber. Then they discontinued the cable and streaming now goes thru fiber optic thru internet.
Yes our TVs/streaming will use the new wi-fi; we’ve already noticed it’s faster, more reliable.

Julie called. Her dad is having more trouble walking, but he also is being more quiet than usually. I said maybe he should see the doctor. Julie said he had just been checked out really thoroughly for upcoming cataract surgery, EKG all of it. I brought up the reaction he had to that nasal spray and how he didn’t seem to have stroke symptoms. But maybe he had a TIA, which might not be as obvious as a full blown stroke. I really don’t know about the house, just that Judy is going.. I know they keep it pretty cold in there, but they are used to it. I’d freeze! But I have learned people who live up there are used to it and I guess adapt. Enjoy the rest of your time before sleep. 10:40 pm is about the time I head to my bed every night. But I play on my phone usually about 45 minutes before I really go to sleep.
We never kept our house cold in MN. OUr house had great insulation and great furnace.

Well, you know that i am a night owl, i go to bed late. I should do better though. I need it warmer in my home, i would freeze in a cold house, too.
We have around 68-70 F in our home during the winter, and i still need a blanket and hot water bottle, when i sit down in the evenings.

Julie had called and I didn’t hear the cell in the living room when I was in the kitchen. Probably the microwave was running. She left a voice mail and it sounded like they were staying because her Dad’s health was declining. So I don’t know. I want to call her but I never know what is going on and whether she can freely talk. I have texted her.
