Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Good late morning…last night we went to the farm store and pet supply store..got pet stuff, peanuts, coffee, etc…rained last night and this morning, just stopped…more tonight and tomorrow. The grass is sooo long! but too wet to mow. I’ll do this and that today..oh and went to Cracker Barrel last night, I got breakfast…had leftovers today.

Good morning! I don’t have much news It’s only 9:30. I did go for a walk it was kinda nice at that time but now it’s hot already 86 degrees. I did apply color street nails took a shower and that’s about it for the rest of the day.
I forgot to tell you that Rick just took my car to the $2 do-it-yourself car wash It has needed to be washed for weeks. I’m very spoiled he takes it for me. I have done it in the driveway before but I pay for it with my back so it really isn’t worth it but I do a much better job
Thats very nice of Rick to help you out😍 when I was a kid many moons ago😂 I loved washing my parents car on a hot day playing with the water cooling off it was a good summer thing to do. I also waxed the car too remember the Turtle wax? it was a lot of work rub it in and buff it off
I finally got rid of my electric buffer. My days of car washing were over a long time ago. I might manage the car wash with the sprayer but even that would be a challenge.
I imagine this is the type of car wash with the hand help sprayer. My philosophy is get it clean enough to keep grit from deteriorating the paint or gunk causing rust. It really takes it just a short time to be back to dirty anyway. Wax is more important than anything because it protects. Yes, you need to protect your back and Rick does spoil you. Bet he missed you while you were in MN.

Good Morning Bellas I’m up just got out of the shower. I can’t find my grocery list. 😂 just found it Jade was knocking stuff off of my table last night I heard her but didn’t get up to stop her, she knocked off my little note book I was writing my list in. Can you usually find everything you want in this store? Don’t forget your bags. I’m notorious for doing that! I’ve been taking cooler style bags when I go to the grocery, I am less apt to forget them because I need them regardless of the store. But I only need regular bags at Aldie’s. Have fun. I don’t try to avoid impulse buying. Some of the best things are things I luck up on in the grocery, didn’t even know they existed.

I just went outside to the shed and took the plastic recycling out and yes it’s hot It’s not bad in the house but it’s hot outside humidity must be high

Not usually but sometimes we have 74% humidity right now and its also a 74 temp storms to my south there a good breeze right now😍 but the air feels thick
