Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. I’m home just got everything put away- meat all in plastic zip locks and in the freezer, boy from the last time I shopped about a month ago the prices have really gone up a lot even at Aldes cost of gas is driving food prices higher. Food pantries mainly. It is hard for lots of folks here. We have a large homeless population. Folks are helping each other, though.

Howdy-do BellaFam 💖 While Kitty was at the hospital yesterday, Rick said he was actually hungry. When i talked to his nurse today, he said Rick was much calmer and more focused than he has been the last couple days. 🤗 Landon fell off his bike yesterday afternoon, poking a large hole in his knee; after which they spent a few hours in ER; just in time for his oral surgery scheduled for today. Pam that sounds like good news to me, progress. Hunger is always a good sign, so does the calm. Rick is a lucky guy in that he has such a great support system. Wow Landon had a rough 2 days, along with his parents. Glad the surgery went well and hope the knee is doing good.
