Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Hello…went to a park with my sister, walked on the trails. DH got the digging done and new gas pipes put in, was going to turn it on but they had put a lock on it so I guess they’ll do it…I think he’s done that before though by himself..anyway he did do most by himself. Tonight my sister, mom, and I went out for pizza, ate outside on the sidewalk…sometimes a bit noisy with the traffic but not bad. Hi Lynn, glad your husband got the pipes done, I know that was a hard job. I would think it would take a lot of work, hope he had a trencher. Going for pizza and eating outside sounds fun to me. Noise is fine with me, I like to watch people come and go. So you got to see a sunset and pretty moon. Two of nature’s gifts.
he just dug it himself, no trencher..he did have a helper for the digging.
Poor guy. I’m glad he had a helper and a cooler day.

Hi Debbie. It was just LOTS of paperwork, filing i had put off and decided i needed to be able to see my desk, some research on things, answering correspondence, etc. Oh, and phone calls. I do have burn out now. 🤩 I hope the new doctor can help Nancy. Eye problems are scary. I am missing posting already, but i have to force myself.
