Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Hello…we are having such nice weather here now…sun and lower temps..went to a Lincoln-Douglas debate with my sister and our mom (we sat back aways, mom sat in front), old time fair, cookout at the music in the park, parade, etc…might visit FIL today, not sure what else..I’m doing laiundry now. DH left for his rentals, going to dig (there’s a gas leak) and put in new pipes I guess, not sure what all he is doing.

Has your husband retired now to see to his rentals or can he take time off work? It sounds like something that must be done right away. Will the gas company install the new pipes? Enjoy your pretty day.
the fair was earlier in the day, the debate late afternoon…no, he’s not retired …he just takes vacation days and doesn’t even use them all up until the end of the year when he takes a couple weeks or so off. He’s installing the pipes, I think.

Its a beautiful day Lynn😍 great for outdoor fun. DH scares me working with the gas. When there’s a gas problem here they evacuate people, shut the street down there’s fire trucks and the utilities company fixing it. They dig a big hole many feet down in the ground because the pipes have to be below the freezing depth.
Surely the gas company will be involved. Hubby probably wants to supervise.
I sure hope so dealing with gas is very dangerous, no one would be allowed to be in the house, gas stays close to the ground it kind of settles lower and if it builds up it can easily explode😳

Julie, I still use them in our bathroom. I would in the hallway but Rick buys those cushy bathroom seats and if I put a cover on it it won’t stay up
