You are watching a mating pair of Bald Eagles named M2(male) and F3(female). The nest and PTZ cams are located in a Loblolly pine tree near Kincaid Lake in the Kisatchie National Forest. The cams have been set-up and are maintained by the U.S. Forest service. Nesting usually starts in December followed by egg laying in mid to late January.

Louis brought a fish at 9:13 and another fish at 9:40 today. They ate well.
Feeding this afternoon
Anna feeding the kids this morning.. I believe the fish is pretty much gone.. praying that more food comes soon 🙏🙏🙏🙏
7:35 Louis brought grass, and at 8:03 Anna brought grass. In addition to the partial fish (assuming leftover from yesterday), there was a little bit of leftover bird under the moss, mostly feathers and bones, that she pulled out at 10:58 to feed. At 1:24, the mom flew in with part of a bird and the E’s ate good at 2 pm. Then at 2:49, Louis came with a big fish and handed it to Anna. So sweet.
At the 3 pm feeding the E’s were fed the fish. At 4:30 both E’s were resting with full crops so Anna had some food to eat. They ate better this afternoon.

This is an American coot. It’s a type of a water bird. You can see the unique feet with the stripes easy to identify when they bring them in.
E-1 Louis ll brought in a partially eaten coot..this morning and just delivered a whopper for a fish this afternoon. The kids are eating good today.❤️❤️

Saw that Beau of the NEFL nest brought 9 fish today. How’s that for fishing?! He needs to give Louis some pointers. Anna was calling out for food at 12:37 – 12:38. Louis brought the fish 12 minutes later at 12:50. Wish he would just bring food instead of waiting for Anna to call and call.
Me too .. I think 🤔 he is just out there hunting and eating 🤣because when she was tracking something and took off .. after about 10 minutes he came in with the half eaten coot. And she came in hot on his tail feathers to claim it😂
I think you’re right, and she might have been tracking him. 😂 They can see small prey from a mile up, so I wouldn’t be surprised if she saw that he was eating and took off to get what was left of the bird. Hope he figures it out soon, because those eaglets are going to grow fast, and it won’t be long before they’re going to eat one fish each.
