Good morning.
Beryl, Jenn, Ardyth, Kathy, Lynn, Pam.
A lovely sunshiny day today with the temp at 63F.
Will last into next week as well, so maybe Summer is now trying it’s best to begin.lol.
Not a lot of rain forecast yet but we do need a soaking now, grass in turning brown on the Green already.
Already pulled up a few weeds this morning now need that cup of coffee.
Will see you all later. 😀 😘
Good morning Ice,
So nice to have the sunshine.🌞
I hope you get some needed rain soon. We have had lots of steady heavy rain and I don’t believe we have a drought at this point.
They were saying we still needed rain from the drought last summer that was pretty bad.
Pulling weeds is exercise Ice, I read it so must be true.😃😉
Hi Jenn.
Closed in a bit now, could be a shower on the way my weather App said.lol.
It might be exercise but it is a chore at the same time. 🙄 😘
Update on our household:
Craig was able to return to work today after being out for 3 days due to the second banding ligation.
I’m still unwell and I hope it doesn’t last much longer.
Both kitties seem to be doing better. Hopefully that continues to be the case.
We had a good rain during the first half of today. There was 2″ in our rain gauge when Craig checked it after work today.
Hi Kathy.
I do hope that Craig begins to heal very soon.
Pleased that the kitties are doing better. 😘 🙏
Thank you ❤️
Thank you for your update Kathy, I had you on my mind a lot yesterday.
Thankful Craig was feeling well enough to go to work and that both kitties seem to be doing better.
Prayers for you to feel better soon, I’m sorry you are still feeling unwell.🙏
Thank you ❤️
It was warmer at 7.30a than it was all day yesterday; of course, when i got up yesterday, it was snowing; the sun is shining today. 🙄 As cold as it was, the leaves don’t look all curled and dead from freezing. There are lots of Jacaranda’s in town, i’ll have to drive around to see how they fared. This weather is so weird. 😜 Ice, hope the new collagen/C tablets help. I have a couple of chat friends that take those and said they can feel the difference; one’s in her 80s, the other late… Read more »
That is crazy weather Pam! Hope it averages out soon. 😬
Hi Pam!
Very nutty weather!!
I hope the Jacaranda trees are okay.
Hi Pam.
I do hope they make a difference. I have tried many pills in my time and nothing has made that much difference 😘
Lynn, if you see this you thought maybe the flowers were calibrachoa that I had posted a picture of. This is the tag on the flowers the name is Cabarat. 🌺
These are going to be gorgeous 💕
very pretty 😊
@Ardyth ~ Tucson , I should be embarrassed to post this picture but you can see how small the inside is right now. With Danny’s big bed in front of our chairs I have to walk sideways back and forth like a crab along the kitchen counters to prepare meals. 😂 It will be fantastic when we can get the chairs and bed in the small addition area. Thankful we got the patio table and when it is a bit warmer we can eat outside.
Why would you be embarrassed? It is adorable!!! SO you will move the bed out of the room its in now? What will you use that room for then?
Thanks Ardy, the bedroom stays just like it is. With the new addition room we will put those big recliner chairs and his dog bed in there, it will be the new living room. We can get a small kitchen table to put where the chairs are now and I can do food prep on the table also, since the counter space in the kitchen is very limited.
Perfect! Your kitchen will be a relatively normal size 😘
Jenn, no embarrassment; it’s a lovely cabin, inside and out 💗 Good thing neither one of you are very big people; heck Danny’s bigger than both of you put together 😂 Sure do think i’m funny. I do have to say 1 thing, that’s an interesting-looking coffee table 😄 So glad you’re getting the addition started, in spite of the idiot code-guy and that Joe’s helping you/Denny navigate him.
Thank you Pam, we do love this cabin it is very cozy and still smells like the beautiful pine boards they built it with.
Did you mean the tables on the floor? Those are computer lap tables, would never want to be without one since starting to use them. The table with our coffee cups on it is a coffee table. Jay is helping us tremendously with the code-guy, thankfully.
Ohhh, thanks for explaining the computer tables; it looked like one of those mini ironing boards to me 🙄 I have something along those same lines — impossible to have a laptop without some kind of buffer between your legs and the heat coming from a laptop.
Yes, after using this I could not go back to holding the laptop!
Hi Jenn
I think it looks cozy 😊
Hi Jenn.
Would suit us down to the bround, 😘
Good morning! I really havent done much …..gave myself a mani yesterday, will do my pedi this morning and will polish my toes. I do this every two weeks. I have been watching the Cocodona 250. @Jenn to answer your question, no I dont know anyone. I stared watching this when Lynn’s son was racing in it. I like it because its in AZ and fun to see Northern AZ. Rachel came in first yesterday she ran 250 miles in 56 hours, with lottle to no sleep, something like 13 minutes. It is not a completive race and no prizes… Read more »
It is fun to have something new to watch and that it is in AZ is more interesting to you I’m sure. I can’t even imagine how people get the strength to power through something like that! How sad the woman passed away funning. 😥
Yes it is fun for me….It started Monday morning and ends Sat at 10:00am….it goes 24 hours, runners even come in at night.
Rachel was on fire — Congratulations to her!
Good morning, We sure had a lot of rain from late afternoon yesterday through 3am this morning. The lower part of the yard very soaking wet this morning. The super nice man, Jay Jones, who is going to be building our addition, delivered a new shed to us yesterday. Speaking of the addition we have been having a lot of back and forth with the CEO ( code enforcement officer ) who is new in his position and very rigid on having info on everything. We had to declare this a ‘seasonal’ home and many changes were made which will… Read more »

unloading…
Danny loves Jay and he seems to love Danny.💖
Love the pics of thr new shed.
So since it is declared a seasonal home does that mean you can live in it year round?
We cannot live in it year round but we did not plan to winter here. No set plans yet on our winters.
Oh!!!! I thought you might be planning on living in this year round.
Too small for long term living. I have no sewing or crafting area. 🙀 We only have 2 living room chairs across from the kitchen counter and no table. With the small addition we will have a living room in the addition and I can have a kitchen table. I will get pictures when it gets going.
I am probably asking too many questions…..will it just be for summer? Will you buy a house somewhere in Maine?
We will stay in Maine whatever we end up deciding to do for winter. 😊
Hi Jenn.
A lovely looking addition.
Why have you had to declare this a “Seasonal Home”??. 😘
The camp is on cement blocks and this CEO started saying we had to have the building lifted and a foundation put under it to be considered year round. It is a joke no other surrounding towns have dealt with the likes of this new guy. If he went after all the townspeople here half of them would be fined I believe.
OH! I see.
Do you have to do that now for all year around use.
No we will not it would cost a fortune and still it is a camp size home. We bought it as a year round home, it was advertises as such so it should be grandfathered but the CEO won’t honor that he said. Belived me between Denny and Jay going back and forth with this guy it has not been fun. Jay is working so hard to help us get an addition.
That isnt right that he didnt honor that!!! But you said it is too small for you so I am wondering what your plans are or maybe you dont know yet.
😯
Nice looking shed. I’m glad your new addition will be started soon.
