Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Just doesn’t freeze solid-they shouldn’t be out till April-and some fruit trees started budding out, this cold we are having now will kill the buds and no fruit then

Good morning…yukky weather…really cold, feels like 3, windy, had a bit of blowing snow and maybe some sleet earlier…waiting to see if my cousin wants to go to lunch..if we do, i’d like some soup and go somewhere where we can park close. Think I’ll make some of my apple spice tea.

If you do like you say, find a place you can park close, any discomfort will be quick. Do you have a remote starter for your car or maybe it is in a garage.

Good Morning Bellas its a very cold 18 windy and have had a dusting of snow, I got a cat grass kit for Jade, going to grow her some fresh greens💚 she loves to eat grass out side, when I have her out and on a walk. Wonder if we will have a hatch today? Jewel is sitting on the eggs and talking to the chicks, I’m wondering if she can hear them? Have a happy hatch watch😘
