Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. I talked to my Mom yesterday-nothing new to report other than he can stay in the hospital for a while longer to get his PT, he can’t go home, has to do rehab
A lot of hospitals have their own rehab units. I hope the rehab helps. They are probably trying to strength up his legs. After inpatient rehab they will probably provide at home rehab.
I talked to him a couple of days ago-a nurse helped him with the phone-its hard for him to answer the phone-soits not like you can just call him, my Mom saw him yesterday, she said he looked and talked good😘

I miss the days when the site just seemed to work. I think there are a lot more ads which makes the functionality of the site worse.
The ads drive me nuts, The worst for me are those wee little ones that all of a sudden come “alive” and make noise. No warning. All of a sudden I ‘ll hear loud music or talking like a loud commercial! Doesn’t happen often so I don’t have a sense how it activates.
You can mute the sound on those-I have the sound turned off on those
The ads that activate unexpectedly are so tiny I don’t see any mute option.If I try to delete the add, it takes me to the actual ad website.
I usually have my whole iPad muted.
I mute my pad briefly when those loud ads pop up. But then turn the volume up again if watching a cam I want to hear.
I’m sure I miss out on a lot of sounds.
I like to hear the barn owl chicks squawk. 🙂

I connected my cell phone to my car this morning, it was easy.
I am doing some laundry and changing our beneficiaries around which can be done online.

I called Julies assistant to have her call in my prescriptions I need to Julie and she booked our appointments for lab follow-ups since the office person didnt call us back.
We wont be seeing Lynn today as she is busy cleaning.

What network was Oprah on? I saw Oprah talk on CBS Sunday Morning where she described her life weight issues as a disease. I have trouble with my phone in my car. It is like it wants to switch between the speaker. On my phone and the car phone. ‘I need to revisit my beneficiaries possibly. I don’t know. The bulk is to Nancy which I guess sorta automatically goes to my family when she dies, which is what I want. But she doesn’t have a will I don’t think. Very cloudy, 42 degrees, warming to about 48; about normal for our area. i can always tell when it’s warmer overnight, the clowder’s food dishes are empty & water dishes are low; probably because other critters come out to eat. 😘 Chuck made vegetable/beef soup yesterday; other than needing a bit of barley for thickening, it was pretty good 😋
Right shoulder is achier than usual; may have to take ibuprofen later after showering; which i’m off to do 🚿 BBL

Good morning Pam missed you yesterday. I bet you spend quite a bit on cat food. I understand about hurting body parts. Something hurts all the time, but I can’t complain. Most of the time the aches don’t interfere significantly. It just seems they are always there. And the pain migrates. Why? 😁. Enjoyed the toon.
