Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Woke to snow and 3 degrees; at least there’s no wind and i guess 3 is pretty good compared to what some of the country is going thru.🙏
Did a load of laundry and when i set the dryer, put the wrong temp on. When trying to reset it; i didn’t know it wouldn’t take.😠 The clothes were still too damp to hang & it’s so cold … UGH. Now i have to run it another 40 mins to dry the load. Thought i’d never say this, but i really miss my Samsung dryer.

I am good here in AZ Pam!!! What kind of dryer do you have? I have never had trouble with the settings on a dryer but this washer will start over if I change in mid stream…..like if it goes off balance and i open it.
It’s a Whirlpool with round dial settings. And it wasn’t cheap.
Whirlpool is the best. It is modern technology that doesn’t allow us to control the unit like we want to. I have a relatively new machine that was like the old school machine in the already new style machine environment. Like the last of the machines where you can stop the machine, change settings, add clothes, add more time, whatever. I dread having to get a new machine when this one dies.
I can’t change settings of any middle of the washer cycles on the Samsung. The dryer, i did lotsa times and it was so easy.
This whirlpool is just a PITA

Rick made my mother’s recipe for pork chops and we had twice baked potatoes and French style green beans from a can which are my absolute favorite

Salt and Pepper both sides, whip up one egg, crush some saltine crackers fine. After you salt/pepper, dip both sides of the pork chops in the egg mixtures and then coat both sides in the crushed saltine crackers. Cook in a pan on the stove for about 10 minutes until golden brown on both sides and then put in a greased pan in the oven at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to an hour.
