Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. It’s normal 18 out and -4 with the wind not bad at all. I wear glasses they keep your eye balls warm

Hi Pam, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen freezing rain last 11 hours! Most snow at least around here doesn’t cause wide spread power outages. And night time will cause everything to be harder.
You have some temps above freezing so you might just have sleet for some of it, is it still snowing?
Yes still snowing but light. If you look at my forecast we have a full 10 hours freezing rain before it hits 32 degrees.
Plenty time to bring down power lines.
