Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. That is great Gabi! Congrats! You reminded me I’m supposed to have a cholesterol check before I see my family doctor. If I need cholesterol medicine the cardio electrophysiologist said he could put me on a non-statin because statins made me hurt more. It is good you can tolerate the statins well.
Thank you habibi. Yes, some people have pain in muscles from those meds. I am so glad that i dont have that. Yes, there are different ways, to get those blood levels down. You are doing so good Gabi. 8 pounds is very good for you because you are not big. And so good to use the bike. I need to do that! Yes, I could in no way do what I did in my 20’s. When I moved to KY I was very shy, not easy to meet people, completely alone and did not know a single person in the whole state. Brand new professional job, my first professional job. I had a lot of depression.

Just tied up all the loose ends for the day. Now I’m going to fix supper and eat, and watch the Olympics, or eagles, or the “gentle giants.”
I just read a letter I wrote to my parents in 1972. I found it in Mom and Dad’s stuff I’m going thru. It was about loosing my little dog and my feelings. I was in college at the time.
Postage was 8 cents.
i have more letters to read. I’m sure they all are all big things since she just kept a few.
