Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. The chicks will continue to grow in the nest for about three to four weeks before fledging. More information about the cams, set-up or to make a donation please visit alyssasnaturesanctuary.org.

Good night dear Phriends and love to all. Pam it was good to see you I was beginning to wonder. Lynn I saw your likes tonight so I know you were here. Everyone have a good night with peaceful thoughts. See you tomorrow. 🥰♥️🥰♥️
Sleep good 😘.
From all the walking done today I’m going to lay down, Judy and I went shopping at Krogers, its across the street from the restaurant and I needed eggs. Anyhow lots of walking fresh air I’m pooped😉 so I’m off for the night I’m going to fall asleep right away💤sweet dreams😘
Goodnight Julie, glad you had such a good time 😘
That is the first time I’ve ever heard you say you went to Kroger.
Good night Moonbow. I’m happy you had such a good day. Saw beautiful things, smelled wonderful smells, ate delicious food, and your best friend to enjoy it with, got to go shopping. Sleep well with peaceful thoughts.
Did Kroger because it was located across the street-their prices are really high compared to Aldes, I never shop there I can’t afford it, Won’t do that again, I just needed eggs could of used some other things but their sale priced thing even cost more than Aldes regular prices some things by a couple of dollars😳 even costs more than Jenny street market
I kept looking in …..nothing….refreshed and missed a bunch of chat.
That happens to me a lot.
And I couldn’t type?
The delayed typing very often. Sometimes I can’t get the dialogue box to type in. Sometimes I type a big post and it disappears before I can post it. My ball is still gone.
Julie: Tibetan pahgoda
Pretty, a lot to see there.
This building was brought here from Tibet, it was reconstructed by builders from Tibet. They built a red line from the pagoda going out into a garden, you are suppose to stand on the line face west and send from your heart, love and peace and greetings, there is a pagoda there in Tibet that does the same thing only sending peace, love and greetings to us in the pahgoda that we have at Olbrick Gardens
What a great story. I know you did it and Tibetans answered back.
I did do it, it was a very spiritual thing to do
How cool is this 💖
We have a sister city in Tibet, that’s where this pahgoda is from, there are ceremonies held there with Monks and Tibetan dancers. The next time they have one I’m going😍
That will be fun.
Had to refresh, having problems😫
I just refreshed and saw you!
Julie: Orchids
Beautiful.
I have more pictures will send more tomorrow-this was just a sample of some of the Orchids, they were hanging from the trees lining the walking paths. They had just had a Orchid show-the ribbon winners were on display in the atrium. There were hundreds of Orchids on display
You had a wonderful day! I bet the atrium was very humid and smelled good.
This place has a butterfly show too, they release butterflies from around the world to fly around the trees and plants
Simply beautiful 💗 I love visiting Gardens!
We just lucked out with the Orchid show going on so it was a big WOW!!!!
Very pretty!!!
Julie: bird
Hello little birdie 🐦
There were canaries and finches little birds singing all over in the canopy of trees😍
It looks pretty amidst all that greenery. Nice platform feeder.
It was so green in there with a whole tree canopy
Your description sounds beautiful. I would love it.
It was hot and misty in there, I wanted to take my shoes off and go barefoot
Just the way orchids like it 💐
Yes and better than in the snow!
Our snow starts early tomorrow morning and goes till around 5pm we could get up to 6 inches😍
Good grief, don’t step in it barefooted. Keep the tropics on your feet. Well at least shoe.
I wanted to feel the moisture😍 and let my feet breath👣
Moisture of the cold snow. Yuk.
We were in a jungle and were there for the Orchid show such pretty flowers, they were all over the atrium, Judy and I walked around inside the tropical jungle, its based on Puerto Rico so it was like being on vacation😂we also walked the grounds outside it was 60😍
You were on a Caribbean vacation!
