Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. I am going to have to go back and watch all of the shows that I missed while I was napping and talking with the neighborhood. I know I missed some good ones. So I will do that for about 45 minutes to an hour, and then go to bed.

Neighbor came over to discuss tree trimming, took a lot of time. Then I took a little nap. Then I ate, and now i am late getting here again. I was very emotional. I about lost it when I realized that WWII veteran was actually there, and the actor went to him and hugged him. Then the Pentagon nurse.

Good evening….last night my sister and I played the Crazy Cat Lady game on the porch, that was fun…today went to church, later walked through the vendor market, then went home and DH grilled hamburgers and hot dogs…I saved a couple for my mom and sister. My sister will come here after her visit with my brother. I bought a couple sides at the grocery deli and double berry cheesecake ice cream. Going to catch up on the chat…
