Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. I actually bought an Oximeter recently, the little thing that goes on your finger. But Jo doesn’t seem to get out of breathe. We will see.

Hello. I have been busy all day, working some on the technical problems from last night. No one can explain it, but no, none of us will receive any refunds due to lack of service for many hours. But, I did get to chat with more neighbors again, which was fun. Even though we were upset. Maybe have a neighborque in the next few weeks. I’m sorry about your technological problems. Have you talked to the companies that provide these services? It can be fun to talk to neighbors. Are you just now meeting these neighbors, or are you already friends? Your supper sounds good, and very healthy! Do you bake or fry your fish? Regardless enjoy.
I had talked to some of the neighbors previously, but just a little bit. The others, I had no clue about. So that part was pretty cool. And we all did individually talk to everybody involved as far as why the problems happened and what could be done about it, but no one really knows and there won’t be any refunds or anything. Even though they say things are being investigated. 🤔 I am baking the tilapia tonight. Goes better with the sides. What did you have? I don’t think you mentioned your menu.
I had baked boneless chicken thighs , kale, tomatoes. I had a piece of corn but put it back up because I got full. I put some BBQ sauce on the chicken, sugar free. It really is pretty good. Do you and your neighbors all have the same internet provider and cell phone company. Isn’t that what is wrong? I can see having the same internet provider but it would be unusual to all gave the same cell provider.
Your meal sounds good too. I could eat chicken every day of the week. Some of the problems had something to do with all of the people on the limited Broadband or whatever it’s called, competing for time in the area. But they haven’t even been able to pin that down exactly yet. Karen that sounds like all of you are on the same WI-FI sy/stem. That sounds dangerous to me, like maybe they could hack into your computer. One type I had a neighbor and she asked me if she could use my WI-FI and for the Wi-Fi password. I told her I didn’t know my password, which was sorta true. But I think at the time the password was written on the bottom of the router. But even tho I basically trusted her, I didn’t want her using my WI-FI. I use private wifi through the actual wifi and land line provider. Wifi is assigned via neighborhood, but the only way to get access is to know that user’s ID and password, and one other things, which i don’t remember right now. And they also provide city wide streaming services. They are reputable.
I was shocked to see that Monfils is still playing. I like him a lot.
Guess I just don’t know how it all works. Monfils is not in the singles any more in the French Open. He lost in the first round. But I suppose he could still be playing doubles. I don’t keep up with that and usually it isn’t televised until late in the championship.
Could be a problem with the cell tower and if they are installing fiber optics?
I must say, last night/yesterday afternoon, was like being in the 19th century all over again. No phone, no cable, no internet, no texting, I really didn’t know what to think about it. Actually had to go talk to people outside of my house!!

I have eaten dinner, watered plants, severe thunder storm warnings have been issued storms could have one inch hail, need to move the tomato plants up against the house, it will block the hail some, so I’m doing this and that to be ready for the storm. I won’t be coming back tonight once I shut the computer down. its 84 at 8pm and there’s lots of fuel for storms to develope.

Goodnight Ardyth. 🤗 Nice that you are getting the medical stuff squared away. I’ve heard doctors are being more careful these days about checking women of a certain age before air travel. Evidently a rise in cardiac events. Altitude and DVT, etc don’t always mix. Sleep good. 💙
What is DVT?
Deep vein thrombosis. Blood clots. One of my friends passed away from one a day after a cross-country flight. She was very heavy, but all women have to be so careful.
