Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. @Ardyth ~ Tucson, have you tried using a stylus on your phone? Don’t know if it would be less painful for you; Lian used 1 because of the neuropathy in her hands. I use one sometimes too.

Good mornin’ Ardyth! 😘 I bet moving does make it worse.. Maybe get a lightweight brace to cut down on moving those fingers too much. I have one for RA and it works well for that purpose. Just thinkin’.

When I’m sitting around with Rick, I don’t like to use the microphone because it interferes with him listening to TV and I don’t like to be rude

I have a messed up finger and my fingernail is curved now and my thumb has hurt when overworked since i fell and broke my wrist a year ago TODAY!!!
i GAVE MYSELF A pedi and the left hand does the hard work.
When do you see dermatology? I think it is soon.
Monday but I have my doubts that he’ll do anything cuz I have a good bones that are underneath they can’t just be popped. I’ll probably have to see a specialist and that won’t be until I get back from vacation

I know the name and cause……I worked for Supercuts for 32 years and we sprayed the hair with a water bottle if they didnt want shampoo which 99% of the people didnt want to pay extra. and the finger tips have the most nerves, can you soak your hand in warm water? I found out from all the repetitive chopping I used to do at work my fingers would ache. Doing dishes in hot water seemed to make my hands relax and feel better. I think for me it was or me the warm water that made it feels better
Good morning Ardy. Yes repetitive motion sure can cause things. Jo got Carpal tunnel from taking blood pressures. I hope the pain does eventually go away. In the meantime I hope the cream helps the pain. I know it is hard to treat it what with the location and hand washing. At least try the gauze and some tape at bedtime with the medicine. Maybe it will help reduce the swelling and inflammation, therefore the pain. Then take it off in the morning.
Sorry ardy, do you have arthritis in your finger ? I can imagine that it hurts. Feel better soon ! 😘🌷🌷.
Yes it is osteoarthritis and very painful.
My thumb hurts too, related to broken wrist
It looks like some arthrosis, called heberden.
Cold packs can help, some people like warmth on it. I am sorry for the pain, also the poor thumb.
The inflammation and pain of the heberden will probably go away again, but the nodes will probably stay, if it is heberden. Have you seen a doc ?

Back inside had a great day out side not many mosquitoes and I didn’t get a tick😍 Jade was out with me the whole day and didn’t get her lead caught on anything, which happens alot, but not today she just laid in the drive way and watched the bees buzzing around
