Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Back in from the heat outdoors, took Jaders for a quick walk, now she’s running around like a mad woman going from open window to open window, I’m sitting right next to one and she just runs right across me. Having sloppy joe left overs tonight😋 boy it feels good to sit down😍 and not have to constantly untangle Jade, she was just being a pita😂 wouldn’t have it any other way😘
You would think Jade would be tired from all her outdoor activities. So much fun! I wish I had her energy. Yours too.
Even played the bathtub game with her, I had to go look for another ball she took the one that was in there out😂 I will give her some catnip in a bit

I found out this morning I was out of my dark roast Peet’s coffee. So I ordered some from Amazon, thinking it would probably arrive before I got out to go to a store, probably by Monday. Well guess what, it arrived about 6 hours after I ordered it. I order just before 1 pm, it arrived just before 7 pm. They told me online it would arrive before 10 PM, but I was skeptical.

I’m sure they only do this for items that are in stock in a fairly close fulfillment center. We got one of those about 35 miles away in Campbellsville Ky.

I imagine they do a lot of deliveries on the trip so it is probably no more expensive than UPS. And I do pay for Prime which adds in there, but I’m sure prime is a lot cheaper for me in the long run.
