Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Doing the fans involves a lot of bending over. It takes a little time to get the oil where it goes without making a mess. But I’m pretty sure now of something else. My reason for not being able to load the scooters was not a strength issue. I was more successful loading the 47 pound one than the 27 pound one. I had that in the back of my mind. Why? Could be but it was the dizzy why I couldn’t lift the little one.
Did you stand up to fast?
I’m already on my feet just bend down, bend up. I’m not fast!
But like having a head rush from standing up fast/like your head
I was dizzy while bent over too.

It’s a old nest I was going to take it down and it was occupied 😂 its a safe place with the overhang, I think she might have eggs because she’s sitting in it? she was sitting in it yesterday with her mouth open poor baby, it was so hot, I put a bowl of water out for her to get a drink there’s water in the bird baths but I thought get give her one close to the nest😘

They say your suppose to take down old nests-but this nest has been used for lets see? its the third year. It doesn’tmean she didn’t add to it like fixup the inside like a hummer.

I’m washing the rugs that got wet and muddy from yesterday, I was sweeping the floor and it was like yuck have to clean those, one rug is Jade’s catnip rug,she eats her fresh catnip and bites and kicks it with her back feet😂
Street lights just came on its really dark out side, under a flood watch, just started raining
it always looks and feels strange when it does that.
Raining and blowing can barely see across the street

There was wind had to close some windows things got a little wet but it will dry
