Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Hi Becki you make it through the storms OK?
Yesterday was kinda bad and we lost power for 2 hours but today just a little wind and lots of rain so not bad.
Hello..a little break in between rain and storms..under a watch until 9. I’ve been doing this and that, brought the neighbors’ mail in, took care of some flowers, moved them around, picked up sticks, don’t remember what else..oh and put out another shallow dish with a rock for bees and butterflies…it’s one of those dishes or whatever that goes under flower pots. If we have a long enough break, my idea is to get a pizza unless DH is cooking up hamburger. Have a good evening 💕

don’t know what we’re having…there was damage in a town south of here, DH has rentals there..think things are ok where they are but bad not that far…didn’t feel like eating and worried, my cousin called, had to call my mom, text my DB, etc

She’s a beautiful longhorn she was scratching her self and got her horns stuck, she’s a favorite😍thry got her unstuck by tilting her head. They didn’t want to cut the trees they are Pecan trees and also provide shade
Best to keep her away from those trees then. Or maybe they could just hammer on a couple boards so she can’t get the horns thru.

Lead Veterinarian license suspended from Ridglan Farms for allowing unlicensed employees to do surgery on the dogs w/o anthetheasia, he should have to go through surgery w/o anesthesia and see what it feels like😡 He and his employee’s should face fines and jail time for the animal abuse. In Wisconsin you get jail time and a fine for the abuse
That is horrible.
He won’t be able to practice again-its on his record now, charges are pending, they did surgery on the dogs eye lids, I can’t imagine what those dogs had to feel,being held down and having part of your eye cut out-for some reason they decided to cut the dogs 3rd eye lid out?
Ridiculous. He should never be a vet again. Why were they doing that anyway? They were supposed to be breeding the dogs, not experimenting with them.
Matbe something to do with eye makeup experiments. A little dog we had before, Bobo, was a rescue from a train heading to Pueblo, to a makeup factory.
Why in the world would someone want to do that? Animals are more trouble when not sedated. Can’t save that much time. Must be a money issue. I agree, Julie, let them taste their own poison. 🥵☹️
